Next, the city clerk has 15 days to verify the signatures, then our proposed ordinance will go before city council. Council members have the option of approving the ordinance as written (effective immediately) or placing it on the November ballot for a vote. The soonest it's likely to be on council's agenda is May 18. We'll post updates here as we receive them.
